Using the gas grill
Grilling must be carried out with the oven door
closed.
When cooking with the grill, the cover must
be kept open to avoid overheating.
Gas grill safety device
The gas grill features a safety device (“thermocouple”); if
the flame should extinguish for any reason, the device
will stop the gas flow.
How to light the gas grill burner
Automatic ignition
1. Open the oven door.
2. Press the oven control knob and turn it clockwise to
symbol . The gas grill burner will automatically
ignite.
3. When the grill burner is lit, keep the oven control
knob for approximately 10-15 seconds until the safety
device automatically keeps the grill burner lit.
4. Release the control knob and then gently close the
oven door.
5. Adjust the grid and grill pan runner position to allow
for different thicknesses of food. Position the food
close to the element for faster cooking and further
away for more gentle cooking.
Preheat the grill for a few minutes before sealing steaks
or toasting. Adjust the shelf level as necessary, during
cooking.
Manual ignition (in case of lack of electrical
supply)
1. Open the oven door.
2. Hold a flame near the hole near the gas grill burner
holes, as shown in the picture.
3. Press the oven control knob and turn it clockwise to
symbol .
4. When the grill burner is lit, keep the oven control
knob for approximately 10-15 seconds until the safety
device automatically keeps the grill burner lit.
5. Release the control knob and then gently close the
oven door.
If the grill burner accidentally goes out or
does not light, turn the oven control knob to
""" and wait at least one minute before trying
to light the burner again.
