2 before using your oven electrolux ovens

Preparing your oven

1. Pleaseremoveallstickers,leaetsandboxesfromthe

doorandfromtheooroftheovenbeforeoperation.

2. Please wipe out the oven interior prior to operation with

warm soapy water and polish dry with a soft clean cloth.

Donotclosetheovendooruntiltheoveniscompletelydry.

Setting the time (where applicable)

Afterelectricallyconnectingtheappliance,youmustset

the time of day before you can operate your oven.

• Aftertheappliancehasbeenelectricallyconnected

‘12:00’ will be displayed and the clock

‘indicator’ will

ash.

• Tosetthetimeofdayinhoursandminutespressthe

or buttons.

5secondsafterthelastchange,theclock ‘indicator’ will

disappear,conrmingthetimehasbeenset.Oncethetime

hasbeenentered,theclockadvancesminutebyminute.

Note:

• The clock has a 24-hour display.

Newappliancescanhaveasmellduringrstuse.Itis

recommended to ‘run in’ the oven before you cook for

thersttime.Operatetheoven,empty,atatemperature

of180°Cforapproximately2-4hours(seepage4for

operating sequence). Please ensure the room is well

ventilated during this process.

Installing your oven accessories

 

 1.Insertthelargestpegintotherearaccesshole

provided.

2. Then locate the front peg into the front access hole

andpushinrmly.

 

 Theshelvesaredesignedsothattheyhavemaximum

extensionbutcannotbeaccidentallypulledrightout.

The trays are designed the same way and slot straight

into the side racks.

 

1. Locate the rear edge of the shelf/tray in between 2

guiderailsofthesiderack-seediagram.Ensure

the same rail positions on both sides of the oven are

being engaged.

 2.Withthefrontedgeraised,begintoslidetheshelfinto

the oven.

 3.Oncethedetentshavepassedthefrontedgeofthe

siderack,theshelfcanbepushedcompletelyin.

 Whenfullyinsertedtheshelf/trayshouldnotinterferewith

the closed oven door.

Some ovens come with formed “easy clean” runners.

The shelves are designed to travel freely on runners

without being pulled out accidentally. Make sure you

have the shelf in the correct orientation before you slide

itin.Otherwiseitcouldbecomejammed.

 

1. Locate the rear edge of the shelf in the recess

between 2 formed runners - see diagram.

Note:

THE TOP ‘LEDGE’ IS NOT A SHELF POSITION

 2.Withthefrontedgeraised,begintoslidetheshelfinto

the oven. Lower the front edge as you push the shelf

completely in.

3. The grill/baking tray for underbench oven models sits

intoawirecarrierthattsintotheovenexactlylikethe

shelves.

 4.Whenfullyinserted,theshelf/trayshouldnotinterfere

with the closed oven door.
