Important! Do not use any sharp or abrasive
cleaning materials! These could damage the
surface.
For metal fronts, use normal commer-
cially available cleaning agents.
Initial cleaning of the hob

burner crowns.
2. Sprinkle a few drops of a ceramic clean-
ing agent onto a piece of kitchen paper
and rub into the whole surface.
3. Polish the hob with a clean cloth until dry.
4. Insert the pan support(s), burner caps,
burner crowns.

burner crowns in hot water and washing-up
liquid.
Initial cleaning of the oven
Important! The oven roof and walls have a
catalytic self-cleaning surface (rough, porous
surface), from which small food deposits are
burnt off at the temperatures over 200 °C.
Please observe the following instructions to
ensure the best working of this self-cleaning
surface.
Caution! Do not use cleaning agents,
oven sprays or steel wool that may
scratch or scour the surface. Do not use
soap or other detergents. These destroy
the catalytic self-cleaning surface. If any
residues remain, wipe them off with a
damp, soft sponge.
It is best for the catalytic self-cleaning
surface that the oven is only opened for
short periods.
Caution! Do not use cloths made of
fabric. The lint catches and sticks on the
rough surface.
1. Switch on the oven lamp using the oven
function control knob.
2. Remove all accessories and side rails
from the oven interior.
