Safety System

Th e safety system prevents th e blender from

being operated if th e tank is not correctly

seated.

You sh ould neverth eless still k eep ch ildren

aw ay from th e appiance.

Ice crush ing

Th e blender can be used for crush ing ice.

Alw ays add a little w ater to th e tank before

using th e blender to crush ice.

Pour th e w ater into th e tank .

Sw itch th e blender on. Any Speed setting m ay

be used. H ow ever, Speed 3 is ideally suited to

ice crush ing.

You can add m ore ice th rough th e filler h ole

in th e lid w h ile th e blender is running.

Care and Cleaning

Before cleaning th e blender, tak e th e plug out

of th e sock et.

M ak e sure th at no liq uids get inside th e m otor

casing!

Clean th e casing w ith a dam p cloth . Never

im m erse in w ater or clean under running

w ater.

Th e tank and blade assem bly can be cleaned

q uick ly and safely using th e Pulse Button.

Pour w arm w ater into th e tank , w ith a few

drops of w ash ing- up liq uid.

M ix th e w ater and w ah ing- up liq uid, by

push ing th e Pulse Button briefly.

Finally, rinse th e tank under running w ater.

If necessary, th e blade assem bly can also be

cleaned separately.

Be careful w h en rinsing th e blade assem bly

(Th e blades are sh arp!). Use only w ater and

w ash ing- up liq uid. Never put parts of th e

appliance in a dish w ash er W h en replacing th e

blade assem bly, turn it clock w ise. See

paragraph "Assem bling th e Blender".

Disposal

Pack aging m aterial

Th e pack aging m aterials are environm entally

friendly and can be recycled. Th e plastic

com ponents are identified by m ark ings, e.g.

> PE<, > PS<, etc. Please dispose of th e

pak k aging m aterials in th e appropriate

container at th e com m unity w aste disposal

facilities.

Old appliance

Th e sym bol on th e product or on

its pack aging indicates th at th is product m ay

not be treated as h ouseh old w aste. Instead it

sh all be h anded over to th e applicable

collection point for th e recycling of electrical

and electronic eq uipm ent. By ensuring th is

product is disposed of correctly, you w ill h elp

prevent potential negative conseq uences for

th e environm ent and h um an h ealth , w h ich

could oth erw ise be caused by inappropriate

w aste h andling of th is product. For m ore

detailed inform ation about recycling of th is

product, please contact your local city office,

your h ouseh old w aste disposal service or th e

sh op w h ere you purch ased th e product.
